Hello everyone! Evan is now three weeks old. Todd and I survived the first week of lack of sleep, poopy diapers and a few tears. Evan is a really, really good baby and sleeps through most everything...phone calls, doorbell, TV, music. He loves to get one or both hands out of the swaddle we put him in so now we just let him "be free". His favorite way to sleep is hands out.

Evan is becoming more aware of his hands and surroundings. He pushes the pacificier back in his mouth when it starts to fall out and loves to look at the jungle animals on the swing. He is allowed to sit in the swing but is banned from actually swinging until he learns NOT to throw up in it! Speaking of throwing up...Evan has gotten much better about throwing up during and after eating. At one point he was almost Exorcist like.

He has had many visitors to come to see him and even traveled as far as Carmel to see his great grandparents. Nina and Pampa were thrilled to meet their tenth (yes 10th) great grandchild. Uncle Michael came for a visit and loved to cuddle with Evan. Mumsie and Grandpa also came for a visit to see their first grandchild. Unfortunately it was cut a bit short due to a visit to the Special Care Nursery at Packard for some tests. He came back with a clean bill of health and we are back at home. Mumsie has been a great help the past few weeks even with the hormonal new mommy running around like a crazy woman. We have one more week with Mumsie before we are "on our own".

More to come on our little adventure. Bye for now. :)
