The Rest of Summer

There were a few more things we did this summer. For starters, we did a practice camping trip in our backyard. Evan was not so keen on the tent at first but after a few minutes fell right to sleep. He didn't have a sleeping bag but we had blankets for him to sleep on. Half way through the night, he woke up and wanted to snuggle with me. I put him in my bag and I was left to sleep on the floor with his teeny tiny blanket. It was at that moment I knew I had to get him a sleeping bag of his own for the real camping trip in September. We finished up our practice camp-out with s'mores! De-lish!We went to Baskin Robbins for ice cream! Evan loved it. He had a whole bowl of strawberry ice cream.Evan loves his water/sand table and could splash in it for hours!

Summertime

We had such a fun summer that I was too busy to update the blog. Here is a look back at what we did...Evan loves to go to the park. When he was learning to crawl he loved the grass and to pick up the leaves. The Fay's had a super fun 4th of July party and Neil played foozball with Evan. Evan loves foozball!!
Evan had his first trip to the dentist after falling on his teeth chipping one. Don't worry, his teeth are fine and we don't have to go back until he's 2 1/2.

We visited Mumsie and Grandpa in Prescott, AZ and Uncle Evan joined us. We went to the Prescott Zoo (it was HOT) and Grandpa took us out to a fancy restaurant for breakfast.

After Prescott, we stopped in LA for the night to see Uncle Evan and Auntie Ellie. Evan had appetizers at the bar with us! They didn't even check his ID.

Are you ready for some football?

Evan is so excited for football season this year. He has been prepping for his fantasy football team for quite a few months. He has put on his inagural jersey and is throwing around the old pigskin. Let's just hope the Bears can pull off a win! Go Bears!!
