This year Evan sorta knew what was going on with Halloween. They had prepared their costumes at preschool all week. As a class, they were a big green caterpillar. Unfortunately Evan was home sick on Friday, so was unable to dress up. As soon as I can get him to get into his costume, I'll post that picture (it's a cardboard box, painted green with pipe cleaner legs).

We went to the pumpkin patch on Saturday and managed to get good, big pumpkins despite the misty rain. After naps, The Fay's came over and we carved pumpkins. They turned out pretty good!

On Halloween night, we went to The Fay's to trick-or-treat. Argh Matey! Evan was a pirate and was a happy camper. Ryan was a cow and was not sure what was going on but went along with all the festivities. Hadley was a cowgirl with bling! Everyone had fun!

Evan and Hadley were into checking out decorations and pointing out spiders, ghosts and pumpkins. I think my favorite part of the weekend was watching the kids dance to the skeleton head at The Fay's.
